When you’re ready to take your theory test, book your test at a local test centre using the guide below.
Remember, you must pass your theory test before you can take your practical test.
As standard a UK theory test for car drivers is made up of two parts taken at the same time - multiple choice and hazard perception. You must pass both parts of the test to get the final certificate.
If you have special needs, such as hearing or reading difficulties, or if you need the test translated into another language, you might be able to get extra help. Visit GOV.UK to find out about getting help with the theory test.
If you have any issues big or small we are fully committed to seeing you pass so please just ask the question.
